August here we come – with more live, fresh, original tunes heading your way. Kicking us off, we’ve got the remarkable local talents of Brandon Troutman and Gabrielle Flanagan, followed by - for the first time on the Lust for Live stage - local rockers, The Johnny Wood Trio. Finally, from Sydney, we are very excited to bring you the Black Heart Breakers, currently on tour with the release of their massive new single, “I Want You”.

Black Heart Breakers
The Black Heart Breakers bring Power Pop Punk Rock from Sydney. Existing on 60’s pop music, 70’s punk and beer, Black Heart Breakers are a raw sonic power that only comes around so often. 2014 saw the release of their 'Self-Titled' debut album which was praised and welcomed by the power pop and punk rock community across the world. The current line-up of Hayden on vocals/guitars, Ed Barnes on bass, Ben D'Costa on Drums and Ando on guitars is unstoppable, seeing them personally picked by Radio Birdman to support on several occasions and playing on the 'Last Call' Lansdowne Hotel Festival. The boys will be touring Australia for the second time starting July 2016.
The Johnny Wood Trio
Johnny Wood is a dedicated local musician who has been providing high-level entertainment to Dubbo pub goers for years. He performs acoustic or electric, solo and with his band, showing a versatility in styles that has led to much appreciation on the local scene.
August will see him make his L4L debut and we can't wait to see what Johnny and the band have in store.
Gabrielle Flanagan
With her insightful pop ditties proving her young age is no barrier to wisdom, we welcome Gabrielle Flanagan back to the Lust for Live stage. Gabrielle has captivated audiences across the region with her powerful yet sweet style. The talent is unmistakeable and the chance to witness one of the region's most promising talents is unmissable. Currently working on her debut album, we couldn't be happier to have her return to L4L
Brandon Troutman
Prepared to be mesmerised as the booming tenor of Brandon Troutman fills the room at Lust for Live. Weaving intricate riffs and heartfelt true life lyrics with an intense song-craft Brandon is a massive supporter of live music in Dubbo and one of the finest talents to grace the L4L stage. Some may know his voice from local prog rockers Mannequin but don't think that his solo performances are any less intense ... if you don't leave with a melody in stuck in your brain, you are quite simply not human.
Each month Lust for Live Dubbo brings together the best local bands with a touring headline act for a night of live, loud, original music.
